According to the the Kansas City Jewish Chronicle, the British man who had offered Louis “Chip” Cantor summer work experience, Kevin Shilling, said the British border agent he spoke to in his attempt to get Cantor admitted into Britian made more than one anti-Semitic comment to him during the telephone conversation they had.
Chip Cantor told his story to two local television stations last month. On June 4, he told KMBC he was traveling to Britain to visit and gain summer work experience, and ….

Kevin Shilling est le PDG et propriétaire de la société Shilling Communications, au Royaume-Uni. Louis ‘Chip’ Cantor, un jeune américain juif, devait se rendre en Grande Bretagne pour un stage d’été dans la société de Shilling.
Mais il s’est vu interdire l’entrée au Royaume-Uni après avoir été détenu pendant plus de neuf heures par les britanniques, avant d’être remis dans un avion pour les Etats-Unis par les fonctionnaires des douanes.
A aucun moment il lui été indiqué pourquoi il s’était vu refuser l’entrée en Grande Bretagne. On lui a simplement indiqué que désormais, sa photo et ses empreintes digitales sont placés dans une base de données, et qu’il lui sera difficile d’obtenir un visa d’entrée au Royaume-Uni ou toute autre pays de l’Union Européenne.
Shilling, le chef d’entreprise anglais qui avait offert à Louis Cantor ce stage d’été n’est pas juif, et il a déclaré que l’agent des douanes à qui il a parlé dans l’espoir de permettre à Cantor d’entrer dans le pays a fait plusieurs commentaires antisémites durant la conversation téléphonique.
